"4 stars for food, 3 stars for environment. Nothing fancy , but the bbq is good. They have a decent variety of sauces. Very laid-back easy-going and fun place to grab lunch with a small country town feel and smiling faces. Fair prices for portions, I couldn’t finish my nachos."

"I didn't even know there was a BBQ joint in Gallipolis until my sister told me so they should definitely need better advertising but other then that, I enjoyed my visit there. The staff is really nice & friendly. Now for the food I can personally only go off what I had to eat which was the pulled pork nachos and the bbq pulled pork baked potato and I was very satisfied with both, both tasted so good and you get a decent portion for the price. I would prefer a tad more bbq sauce on both but that's just me. On top of tasty food, the delicious smoked aroma hits your nose soon as you step out of your car, makes your mouth water."

"This place was started out of a food truck. And grew from there. Its a small hole in the wall but its totally worth it. Friendly staff even a little sassy I noticed which is fun! Prices are very low right now but word on the street is it will go up first of the year. 10.99 for a quarter rack of ribs with 2 sides and a drink. 23.99 for a full rack. Come on out and try it out!"

"My first time ever eating at Vanco's at the food was very good. I had a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. The sandwich had a large amount of meat on it. The beans were very good also. I believe next time I'm going for the brisket. The service was very good, fast and friendly. Will definitely be back to explore other items on the menu."

"Personable staff, and excellent food. I would've ordered a lot more but was making a brief stop after seeing all the reviews. I ordered a brisket in a cup with a side of spicy sauce."
